     Nicole Nowotnik is a queer and neurodivergent writer of young adult and new adult romantasy and sci-fi. If she's not reading or writing, she's getting way too emotionally attached to spiders in the corners of her apartment, or playing video games. Probably Pokemon. And then of course she's getting way too emotionally attached to her Pokemon.
 

     Nicole's writing focuses on fantastical settings and cute romance between queer girls in unlikely circumstances. She hopes that one day her writing will reach fellow queer girls, and let them know that what they're feeling is positive. She wants to give them the encouragement she never had at that age, give them cool female love interests to swoon over, and make them laugh.

     Nicole is currently querying THE ASCENDED, a young adult sci-fi where a shy teen is forced to compete for the love of an alien princess with a mysterious secret. She is editing BLEEDING HEART, a young adult urban fantasy where a vegan teen is forced to become a vampire. And, she is doing a revamped version of CAPTIVATED, a former young adult romantasy about a kidnapped princess, now going to be new adult and a bit darker.
